*In February, we sponsored our sewing school with Simon Haskins! What fun we all had creating the beautiful table runner! And everyone left with a finished tablerunner....... Having the opportunity to sew all day with Simon was great but to have the opportunity to see and handle all the beautiful projects he and his Mom, Jenny, create was awesome! They are always on the cutting edge in their sewing and embroidery. Just a few of the beautiful techniques we learned about!
We all had our favorite quilt or project but Harvey's Garden Quilt was one of the favorites. The cutest project for your little one. And then of course the project in their new techniques. The perfect shrug................................Faux Knitted fabric created in the embroidery unit!See Jenny's Book, "When Dreams Flower" for instructions.
*We were also excited to offer our sewing day with Darlene Guillory, Pfaff Educational Training Director. (Darlene has been with Pfaff as long as Petrina and I can remember. Her 13 Foot Sewing Bag was a great success. The stylish bag challenged us to use all these sewing feet we have been collecting for years! What a fun day!
KID'S SEWING CAMP: *June 6th-June 8th,2010 IN Longview was a great success! Sew much fun! Below the students show off their Photo Pillow! What a great group of students and teachers!
